This Boxwood bonsai (buxus harlandii) showcases a unique broom style that adds natural charm to any space. Native to Southeast China, this tree was carefully selected and imported to the UK.

Known for its thick trunk and narrow leaves, the Boxwood bonsai is not only a popular choice for hedges and wall panelling, but also makes an excellent bonsai tree. With its aged-looking trunk and bushy evergreen canopy, this broom style bonsai is ideal for indoor display.

Growing Conditions 

Light: ☀️ Direct sunlight or 🌤️ partial sun; ❄️ protect from frost.
Moisture: Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
Pruning: Prune after the last frost. Protect shallow roots with mulch and minimise cultivation.
Pests and Diseases: Susceptible to nematodes, scale, boxwood mite, boxwood leafminer, boxwood psyllid and fungal diseases (box blight, phytophthora root rot, leaf spot).
Location: Indoors
