Ilex Crenata Bonsai
The Japanese Holly Bonsai tree, known as Ilex Crenata Bonsai, is native to east China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. This tree is usually found growing on mountain slopes and forests.
The leaves are dark green and small but it does flower. In summer small white flowers will bloom beautifully. In winter dark berries will grow. This tree is a wonder to watch grow and adapt over various seasons. You can store your Ilex Crenata Bonsai both indoors and outdoors. But it is definitely best outdoors in the sunlight. In windy conditions it is recommended to secure your tree in a guarded, shaded area.
